QLD Health & Safety Representative 5 Day Training

About the course
This WorkSafe Queensland approved course provides newly elected Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) with the knowledge and skills required to fulfil their role under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD). Delivered over 5 days, the course covers the rights and functions of HSRs, how to identify and report hazards and risks, the role of health and safety committees, obligations in relation to notifiable incidents, and how to issue Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) and direct the cessation of unsafe work. Under Queensland legislation, newly elected HSRs must complete this training within 28 days of election. Participants receive a WorkSafe Queensland Statement of Attendance on completion.
