Prepare and Apply Chemicals

I booked it mainly to get the qualification on paper, but I got more out of it than that. The trainers genuinely care about the people in front of them, even the later sessions didn't drag. Juggling it around work and the kids was a bit much some weeks, but they were flexible when I needed it. Really glad I did it.

Smaller group than I expected, which suited me. I got proper feedback on where I was going wrong rather than a generic tick. Took a lot of the pressure off going back to study after a long time away.

I came in wanting a change and didn't really know what to expect. You could tell the trainers had done the work themselves, so the examples came from real jobs instead of a textbook. I started using bits of it at work straight away.

What I liked is it wasn't all sitting there listening to someone talk at you. We got into the practical side early, which is how I actually learn. A couple of things didn't sink in first go, but they were happy to go back over them. I walked out feeling like I could do the job.

I'll be honest, I nearly didn't sign up. I hadn't studied in years and figured I'd be the oldest one in the room. Wasn't like that at all. The trainers took the time to explain things until they actually clicked, and I ended up staying in touch with a few people from my group. Glad I stopped overthinking it and just enrolled.
