About the course
This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to test atmospheres in confined spaces, tanks, vessels, or other potentially hazardous environments. Participants will learn to select and use gas detection equipment, interpret atmospheric readings, identify hazardous conditions, and apply appropriate control measures. Training combines theory with practical skills training to ensure competency in gas testing procedures.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However you must provide three forms of identification to finalise your enrolment. Learners must be at least 16 years of age to undertake assessment.
