About the course
This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing in accordance with workplace and legislative requirements. Participants will learn correct specimen collection procedures, chain of custody requirements, handling and storage protocols, and how to maintain privacy and dignity of the donor. Training combines theory with practical demonstration to ensure competency in workplace drug testing procedures.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However you must provide at least one form of identification to finalise your enrolment. Learners must be at least 16 years of age to undertake assessment.
