About the course

This nationally recognised unit provides the skills and knowledge required to apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in an electrotechnology workplace. Participants will learn to identify WHS legislative requirements, apply safe work practices, assess and control workplace risks, and comply with workplace WHS policies and procedures. Training combines theory with practical application to ensure competency in workplace health and safety compliance.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However you must provide at least one form of identification to finalise your enrolment. Learners must be at least 16 years of age to undertake assessment.

I booked it mainly to get the qualification on paper, but I got more out of it than that. The trainers genuinely care about the people in front of them, even the later sessions didn't drag. Juggling it around work and the kids was a bit much some weeks, but they were flexible when I needed it. Really glad I did it.
